Notice to Residences on North Falls Church Court

The City of South Bend and HRP Construction would like to thank you for all your patience during the Fairfax Estates Drainage improvement project.

Within the next two weeks HRP Construction will be placing top soil in preparation for sod installation. As a result of construction, the sidewalk and curb height has been raised. Subsequently, sprinkler heads will have to be raised to avoid them being damaged or buried. This is the responsibility of the property owners to have this completed.

Please plan to have the adjustments to your sprinkler system made prior to sod placement. HRP Construction will be installing the sod within the next two weeks.

It is anticipated milling and paving to begin the week of July 13, 2009.

Again the City of South Bend and HRP Construction would like to thank you for you understanding and patience.

If you have any questions or would like more information on this project please call me at 235-5939 or you can go to www.southbendin.gov/fairfax to check the progress of the project.

Thank You,

Marcia A. Qualls

Update

Yesterday afternoon the manhole at the west end of the new main storm line, was set and connected to the new 24” RCP line.

This morning, HRP started removing the curb, sidewalk and drives around North Falls Church Court. They will continue tomorrow with what they can not get done today. Weather permitting, they will be doing some grading and their subcontractor will start forming and pouring the first of next week.

Home owners need to be reminded that there should be no driving on the new concrete for at least seven days.

Excavation continues at the new retention basin. I
